"Increase Your Odds Of Success... Try NorthWoods Common Scents.
Deer Lures and Hunting Products that make a difference.

Welcome to the  Team-NorthWoods website. There is a reason why this is our company slogan. It WILL help you to become a more successful Whitetail Deer Hunter PERIOD ! Nothing fancy, just the real McCoy.

Whitetail Deer Scents and lures have been our business for over 20 years and we are highly regarded in the Northeast as New England's Finest Deer Lures.

Our Urines are collected from Whitetail Deer farms here in the Northeast and are 100% pure and undiluted. The Buck & Doe Urine will attract either sex and will work as a great cover. Our Doe in Heat is the finest and is collected during the hottest portion of the estrus cycle. Our Territorial Buck with Tarsal will make him find you !

My name is Dean Vanier, president of NorthWoods Common Scents. (NWCS)

I was born and raised in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and began hunting fishing and trapping at a very early age. I started chasing the Whitetail deer literally through the fields at 11 and was in a tree with a bow in my hand at 13 years old. Being a trapper taught me allot about animals and how they tend to follow their nose. It only made since to me, that if I could beat a foxes nose, then I certainly could beat a Whitetails nose. So even back then I knew beating a Whitetail's scences was the key to success. I began making my own cover scents and started using deer urines in the early 80s. Soon I was seeing and shooting more bucks consistently.  NorthWoods Common Scents came  to life in early 1990's. Our urines are collected here in the Northeast  and my cover scents: pine, earth, cedar and acorn are all common scents of the north woods . Thus NorthWoods Common Scents was born.

NorthWoods is poured and labeled by hand in the late summer and early fall ensuring the highest quality and freshness.

That is when Shelli { my better half } and I hit the road distributing our product through out New England .

As you will see in the photographs and testimonials, these are real hunters with real stories using 100% pure NorthWoods Common Scents Deer Lures .

I take great pride in the company and would like to thank the following Team NorthWoods Staff for their hard work and dedication to the success of NWCS .

These individuals have proven time and time again thru their success, that their passion of Whitetail hunting is only matched by their respect for the Whitetail Deer.

Team NorthWoods : Dean & Rachelle & Shea Vanier, Paul Lafleur, Mark Nylund, Jim Dusseault ,  Mitch Montague,& Pete Porter
